Job DescriptionManufacture Nevadais seeking a Marketing and Social Media student intern to join our statewide team's headquarters on the third floor of the Innevation Center, at the University of Nevada, Reno. Manufacture Nevada needs an enthusiastic team player to help support us in our mission to help Nevada's manufacturers navigate their path to success.The right person for the job is an effective marketer and writer with experience creating and posting/uploading digital written and visual content to various platforms such as a website, LinkedIn, Eventbrite, Constant Contact, Twitter, and YouTube.

Responsibility and flexibility are important; project timelines are often subject to change and some projects will arise that require fast turnaround times. The successful candidate will appreciate working as part of a team of professionals to meet team goals and deadlines. ResponsibilitiesHelp us measurably grow Manufacture Nevada brand awareness, credibility, and community engagement using our website, blog pages, social media channels, eblasts, etc.

Create written and multimedia social media content that is consistent with the Manufacture Nevada brand.Source relevant and shareable social media content. Consistently engage our social media audiences, and curate data to inform management of our social media outreach results.

Routinely review public news, community, and partner social media posts, particularly those that mention Manufacture Nevada or Manufacture Nevada staff. Engage with community and partner social media accounts to grow our community engagement and brand awareness.Lead website content management by curating and publishing blogs and event announcements to our website and Eventbrite.

Create and distribute eblasts and e-newsletters using Constant Contact. Create email templates using Salesforce.Proofread messaging and marketing collateral to comply with our branding guidelines.

Update and maintain documents and calendars to support our external communications, PR, and marketing efforts.Interview staff and clients to gather and curate content for blog posts and success stories.Meet regularly with the Director.

Seek and incorporate feedback into final published content.Identify and suggest implementable ideas to improve brand awareness and credibility. Required QualificationsCandidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno, and in good standingCandidate must have strong writing and editing skills.
